Music for Parks 

A project that was created by Will Wadham in collaboration with the charity 'Mind', Music for Parks involved composing a backing track, on top of which instrumentalists (violin, cello, trombone) performed improvised lines of melody.

 

Their performances were manipulated live with reverb and mixing, interweaving with a track made up of piano and synths.

 

The event took place on the bandstand in Ruskin Park, London, with the meditative music repeating several times during a cycle of three hours. The soundworlds were made with the goal of creating more awareness of mental health and wellbeing.
